Dry cooler “standard”: simple cooling that uses no water
Our dry coolers, or air coolers, can be monitored remotely. The use of high quality materials enables the achievement of high efficiency and energy saving values.
These are liquid coolers (water, water/antifreeze) in closed circuit with indirect exchange, using ambient air as the cooling fluid.
Process fluid temperatures close to the inlet air temperature. Cooling powers available as standard from 47 kWf up to 570 kWf, considering a 5°C difference between ambient air and supply water.

Adiabatic dry cooler: the smart cooling
It is the optimal solution for increasing the efficiency of air systems. Air cooling systems are based on the sensible exchange between the fluid flowing inside the tubes of a coil and the air that laps the coil’s finned surface. To increase efficiency even in the summertime, an industrial adiabatic cooler humidifies the air before it encroaches on the finned surface of the coil. Thus the temperature is lowered significantly and the system gains efficiency even in the hottest period.
- Dry operation: expected during the winter/fall period. Outside air is drawn in and conveyed to the finned coils. The humidification process is deactivated, so there is no presence of water, the humidifier pack is dry, and the pump circuit switched off. Temperature probes, at the outlet of the cooled fluid and inside the machine, modulate the speed of the fan(s) to optimize energy use.
- Adiabatic operation: provided during the summer/spring period. Outside air is drawn in and passed through the humidifier pack (protected inside the machine) and properly wetted, in very short cycles, by mains water. This is previously charged to activate the adiabatic cooling process. The adiabatically cooled air (thus at a lower temperature than outside) is conveyed to the finned coils, thus increasing the efficiency of the cooler during the hottest time of the year.
